Children’s Social Worker – Yorkshire

Twenty Four Seven Nursing is currently recruiting an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join a Children’s Services Team in Yorkshire.

This is a full-time agency position working Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, supporting children, young people and families within statutory services.

The Role – Children’s Social Worker

As a Children’s Social Worker, you will:

• Undertake assessments under Section 17 and Section 47

• Manage child protection and children in need cases

• Complete risk assessments and safety planning

• Prepare reports for court proceedings and attend hearings when required

• Develop and review child-centred care plans

• Work in partnership with families, carers and multi-agency professionals

• Support children in care and those subject to Child Protection Plans

• Promote safeguarding and positive outcomes for vulnerable children

You will manage a varied caseload within a supportive team environment.

Requirements

To apply for this Children’s Social Worker job in Yorkshire, you must have:

• Social Work England registration

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work

• Experience within Children’s Services (Child Protection, CIN, LAC or Safeguarding)

• Knowledge of statutory legislation and safeguarding frameworks

• Full UK driving licence

• Eligibility to work in the UK
