Healthcare Assistant  1:1 Care | Guiseley

Twenty Four Seven Nursing are currently seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to provide dedicated 1:1 care within a care home in Guiseley, West Yorkshire.

Due to increasing demand in the Guiseley and Leeds area, we have regular agency shifts available. We offer flexible working patterns with competitive pay rates and weekly pay.

As a 1:1 Healthcare Assistant, you will deliver person-centred support to one resident requiring additional supervision and care within a residential or nursing home setting.

The Role – 1:1 Healthcare Assistant (Guiseley)

As an agency Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing dedicated one-to-one care and supervision
  • Supporting with personal care including washing, dressing and toileting
  • Assisting with mobility and safe moving & handling
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes to senior staff
  • Supporting residents with dementia, behavioural or complex needs (where required)
  • Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed
  • Maintaining accurate documentation
  • Promoting dignity, independence and safety at all times

You will be working within a care home environment in Guiseley, supporting residents in a safe and compassionate manner.

Requirements

To be considered for an agency Healthcare Assistant role in Guiseley, you must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 6–12 months UK healthcare or care home experience
  • Previous care home experience preferred
  • Moving & Handling training
  • Ability to meet framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health and References
  • Updated CV
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
