Job Title: Social Worker  
Location: Richmond
Working Hours:  Monday to Friday,  09:00 – 17:00

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will provide a comprehensive social care service to adults of working age experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems within the community. As a Social Worker for the Adults’ Mental Health team, you will also engage with various disciplines to promote a needs-based approach for all service users while fostering a partnership approach to service delivery.

You will be developing clear support plans following Care Act assessments, completing funding applications, and managing legal requirements such as COPDOL, DoLS, 21a’s, and court reports. Additionally, you will build meaningful relationships with individuals often considered ‘difficult to engage’ and their families. Providing support to carers in accordance with the Care Act and assisting children transitioning into Adult Mental Health services at the age of 18 are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experiences Required:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Degree-level or equivalent qualification in Social Work
